Mike Etomi

M&G Etomi Foundation –  Board of Directors

Dr. Michael Etomi graduated from the College of Health Sciences of the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University). He finished his internship at the University College Hospital, Ibadan.

He proceeded to the Yale University School of Medicine and Public Health, New Haven, Connecticut, where he obtained his Master of Public Health and Residency in Preventive Medicine degrees.

Dr. Etomi completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Centre, NY and his Nephrology fellowship at the Mount Sinai Medical Centre, New York. He is currently a Senior Partner and Vice President of Metrolina Nephrology Associates in Charlotte, North Carolina, a 40-man nephrology practice, and Medical Director of DaVita Dialysis.

He is board-certified in Internal medicine and Nephrology. A fellow of the American Society of Nephrology. He is a Past President of the Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas(ANPA). The mission of the ANPA is a “Healthier Nigeria in a Healthier World “.

He is actively involved as a co-founder of M&G Etomi Foundation, where he is committed to providing opportunities and resources for the youths in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria. Dr. Etomi spends his leisure time golfing.
