I work in an Oil & Gas company and I was able to update my CV with the certificate issued to me. The course helped me to know my right in Safety as an employee, the company in which I work has zero tolerance for anything that has to do with safety polices, as an employee I have the right to stop any task that is not safe around the company premises. This task was given to me by the company authorities all because of the skill Acquired from the Foundation.

In time past I was not able to apply for a any job that required HSE but from the concluded HSE course which was sponsored by M&G Etomi Foundation I am now certified in HSE 1, 2, 3 & this has given me opportunities to apply in the oil & gas sector which I wasn’t able to do before now. I can also testify that the course taken has helped to boost my confidence not just as a graduate in Mass Communication but also as a competent HSE & First Aid Officer.

Since after graduation that I have been able to make pastries like chin-chin, egg-roll, doughnut queen’s cake etc. I hawkers around my community to facilitate quick sales, although I have a stand in which I sell my products. I am grateful to the foundation for helping me make daily profits.

I am thankful to the foundation for giving me a meaningful platform. I never imagined that I would become the first ”CHEF” in my family doing little, little catering contracts around my community and this I acquired through the skills given by M&G Etomi Foundation.

Wow!!! Thanks for the opportunity, it’s a privilege to be part of the M&G ETOMI FOUNDATION, I got to know that we need people to achieve certain goals in life. Someone’s experience, intellect, view, opinion, advice, and ideas can make one’s dream come alive and true in a flash.

My experience on Saturday was wow because I learnt both career ideas, how to improve myself as a woman and how to be successful as an entrepreneur. It also taught me how to make a difference as a female, and by this I can also encourage other females to change their mindset and be different, I am very grateful.

Thank you for choosing me as a mentee, my experience from Saturday was outstanding, based on the fact that I was taught on how to love my fellow woman, they also help me in building myself confidence and I’m grateful.

I was idle before I enrolled for the Wakirike Development coalition skills acquisition programme sponsored by MGE ETOMI Foundation. I enrolled for hotel and hospitality management, a one year course. I now make small chops and other pastries and supply to shops around where live, from time to time I also look out for those who have gone ahead of me in baking to enhance my skills.

I hope to organize a skill Acquisition programme to empower the youths in my community.

I was working with in a law firm as an office assistant before I applied for the Wakirike Development skills Acquisition programme 2015/2016 Batch sponsored by MGE ETOMI Foundation. I applied for Electrical/Safety (HSE), a four months course, which I am now using to work. I intend to train others as I perfect my skills on the job.

I was into sewing a little but needed to bring out the passion in me for sewing, so I heard of Wakirike Development Coalition Skills Acquisition sponsored by MGE ETOMI Foundation. I applied for sewing, my dream skill. I am already making clothes and gradually making some money with it. I will in turn sponsor some youths in the community who have passion for sewing as I progress.

It was indeed a good time running a wonderful training, you have impacted so much knowledge which I never thought of, I am speechless, and my heart is full of joy and happiness. May Jehovah Almighty bless our sponsors and grant them resources to carry out this great vision. Once more I say thank you.
